Speaker Proposals
Backup 2023 and 2024 proposals are now being accepted.
Pacificon℠ Speakers are among leaders in their fields.
Covering the full range of topics amateur radio enthusiasts are interested in,
they rarely fail to to teach us something new.
See our great lineup of speakers on our Conference Schedule-Events, Technical Schedule-Forums, Education and Events pages.
If you have a topic you would like to speak at Pacificon℠, please
fill out the form below. Just a few of the topics we're looking for include tuning duplexers, coax termination, configuring certain handheld radios, fundamentals of radio technology, antennas, public service, emergency response, digital communications, maker kits and just about any other subject of interest to hams.
Please Note:
If you are selected as a Speaker, we will try to accommodate your requests for day and time, but please note that none of the days or time slots requested via the form are guaranteed. The Forums Chair must reserve the right to schedule a presentation at any time during the conference.
Also: Speakers need to go to the Attendee Registration page to sign up for the conference, as well as submitting this form. However, please wait to do this until you have received confirmation that you are a scheduled speaker. At that time, a discount code will be provided by the Registration Chair that can be used for one free conference general admission.
Equipment Requirements:
Pacificon will provide a projector and screen to display your slides or other material that must be projected onto a screen. Our projectors have an HDMI interface. For the standard forums on Saturday and Sunday, we do not provide a computer. Please bring a computer with an HDMI interface on it and loaded with your presentation material. If you must use a device that does not have an HDMI interface, also bring an adapter appropriate to your device, such as USB-C to HDMI.
For the Friday Antenna Seminar, we will also provide a computer at the podium. Bring your presentation material on a USB flash drive. If you must use your own device and it does not have an HDMI interface, bring an adapter cable, such as USB-C to HDMI.
We thank all the numerous people that volunteer their time and expertise to speak at Pacificon℠.
