The idea is to help operators find and connect with each other and more experienced operators providing guidance, directions, assistance and allowing new operators to make contacts, learn protocols, and connect with the broader ham radio community.

Our Special Event Station under the tents on the patio is the focus of operating during Pacificon.

Inside The Marriott

Use the national FM simplex calling frequencies: 146.520 or 446.000.

QRP will also be operating using limited power.

Traveling To The Marriott 

We provide Talk-In for attendees using our W6CX Mt. Diablo repeater. Unfortunately reception is weak to absent inside the Marriott.

147.060 MHz + / CTCSS/PL 100 Hz

Tune your radio to listen on 147.060 and transmit on 147.660 MHz.

The 100 Hz sub-audible tone sent by your radio is required for

the repeater to recognize your transmission.

As usual, in the unlikely case of repeater problems, try simplex on the output frequency 147.060 MHz.

We plan to have a functioning radio at the mdarc.org club table.
