Be sure to buy and read the book "The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual: All You Need to Become a Ham Radio Operator ". Study it prior to PACIFICON !!!. Rich suggests that the chapter you read first should be the one which covers Ohm's Law and basic electrical principles (look up "Ohm's Law" in the index in the back).
Sign up for the one day class below so we can hold a spot for you. The class will be held on Saturday (all day). Enrollment is limited to 40 students.
If you plan on taking the technician test at 5:00 pm, remember the following:
• The license exam fee is $14
• You will need one photo ID, and will need to write down your social security number on the application (including minors)
• Retakes are available on Sunday
